MVA With Injuries - Intersection of Rt. 57 and Strykers Road

July 15, 2018

On Sunday July 15, 2018 at approximately 22:01 hours, the Lopatcong Emergency Squad was dually dispatched with the Lopatcong Fire Department to the intersection of Rt. 57 and Strykers Road for a reported motor vehicle accident with injuries.  There was reports of 5 patients in the accident.  Phillipsburg EMS was requested to assist on scene.  One patient was transported to a local hospital and four patients refused medical treatment.  Visit the Express Times article for additional photographs and information by clicking the photograph above.

LES Receives Donation From the Lopatcong Middle School Student Council

On Friday December 1, the Lopatcong Emergency Squad was the proud recipient of a donation from Lopatcong Middle School's current student council. This donation was from funds raised during the Almost Anything Goes event. We greatly appreciate your support and are honored to serve this great community!

Vehicle Fire 1335 Belvidere Road

November 5, 2017

On Sunday November 5th, at 16:53 hours, the Lopatcong Emergency Squad was dually dispatched with the Lopatcong Fire Department to 1335 Belvidere Road for a reported vehicle fire near a structure. The crew of BLS 74-54 arrived on location moments after the dispatch to find a fully involved vehicle fire next to the residence. The BLS crew deployed 4 dry chemical extinguishers, 2 supplied by the Lopatcong Twp. Police Department, in an attempt to damper the fire enough to keep it from extending to the exposure. Crews from the fire department arrived minutes later and completely extinguished the fire. The quick work of all agencies involved kept the fire from extending to the residence. All crews cleared the scene and became available at approximately 17:30 hours.

MVA (Car into a Ditch) Fox Farm Road

October 27, 2017

At approximately 20:53 hours the crew of BLS 74-53 heard the Lopatcong Police get dispatched to the area of 30 Fox Farm Road for a reported MVA, car into a ditch. 74-53 was located on Trubek Lane, not far from the scene, so the crew responded to the area. They found a vehicle in a ditch in front of 32 Fox Farm Road. It was quickly determined that the car was unstable and needed to be stabilized to remove the patient. They requested the Lopatcong Fire Department for rescue services. The fire department arrived on scene and made quick work of stabilizing the vehicle. The patient was removed at 21:18 hours and then refused medical attention. The roadway was closed for a short period of time to allow crews to remove the vehicle from the ditch. The roadway was reopened and crews were clear of the scene by approximately 22:20 hours.

MVA Route 22 and S. 1st Street

May 27, 2017

At 08:56 the Lopatcong Emergency Squad, Lopatcong Fire Department, and Lopatcong Police Department were dispatched to Route 22 and S. 1st Street for a 3 car MVC with an overturned vehicle and entrapment. The Lopatcong Fire Department made quick work stabilizing the vehicle and extricating the entrapped patient. Total extrication time was under 15 minutes. A total of 2 patients were transported to area hospitals and 3 patients refused treatment. Assisting on scene were members of the Phillipsburg Emergency Squad and Hunterdon Medical Center's Mobile Intensive Care Unit.  For additional pictures and information, visit the Lehigh Valley Live article.

LES Equipped With Pet Oxygen Masks

Life Saving Award
